# ICR Board

The ICR Board plays a vital role in approval of Policies and Compliance standards for ICR. The duties of the ICR Board are laid out in the [ICR Board Procedures](/documentation/icr-program/about-icr/leadership/organizational-roles-and-responsibilities/icr-board/icr-board-procedures-v3.2.md).

* **Policy:**
  * Authorizes key policies governing the organization's operations, including ethical guidelines, environmental policies, and operational procedures.
