Bio

Cameron is a climate markets lawyer with 25 years of experience in energy and environmental commodity derivatives markets, clean energy, carbon accounting, and digital assets.

He previously served as Head of Government Policy & Legal at Xpansiv, which operates integrated, open and neutral market infrastructure for the global energy transition and carbon markets, including the APX carbon registry infrastructure. He was also a lead consultant representing The World Bank to the UNIDROIT Working Group on the Legal Nature of Verified Carbon Credits (VCCs) and advisor to the Bank on carbon market infrastructure, tokenization of intangible assets, and digital environmental commodities.

Since 2022, Cameron has been the Managing Partner at the (d)Carbon Group, a specialist climate change advisory firm redesigning energy and environmental markets as digital climate ecosystems.
