Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational management of the International Carbon Registry (ICR), ensuring that organizational processes, resources, and activities are effectively coordinated to support the strategic objectives of the ICR program and registry.

Operations Management Oversees the daily operational functions of the organization, ensuring that internal processes, workflows, and operational systems operate efficiently and support the delivery of ICR services.

Business Development Leads initiatives to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion into new markets, development of strategic partnerships, and strengthening the market position of the ICR program and registry.

Financial Oversight Manages the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, monitoring revenues and expenditures, and ensuring sound financial management in line with organizational objectives.

Partnership and Stakeholder Management Develops and maintains strategic relationships with partners, stakeholders, service providers, and vendors to support the implementation and growth of the ICR program and registry services.

Personnel and Resource Management Oversees personnel across operational units, ensuring effective team management, personnel development, and appropriate allocation of resources to support operational priorities.

Operational Reporting Prepares and delivers regular operational reports to the ICR Board, providing updates on operational performance, financial status, business development activities, and key challenges and opportunities affecting the organization.
