Templates

Here you will find templates that project proponents and validation and verification bodies need to use for the documentation of climate projects.
A project design document (PDD) outlines the details of a project that aims to reduce or remove greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and issue carbon credits. The PDD is used to demonstrate that the project conforms to the requirements of the ICR requirement document and eligibility to issue carbon credits.
A monitoring report (MR) is a document that outlines the results of monitoring and measuring greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions or removals from a specific project. The report is used to verify that the project or program is achieving the expected emission reductions or removals stated in the PDD.
A validation report is a document that validates that a proposed project conforms with the ICR requirement document and the ISO 14064-2.
A verification report is a document that verifies the quantity of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions or removals generated by a specific project. The report is a confirmation that the project has achieved the expected emission reductions or removals or deviations from the estimation.
A validation report is a document that validates that a proposed project conforms with the ICR requirement document and the ISO 14064-2 and verifies the quantity of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions or removals generated by a specific project for a specific monitoring period. The report is a confirmation that the project meets the requirement and has achieved the expected emission reductions or removals or deviations from the estimation.
A concept note is a preliminary document that outlines the basic idea or concept of a proposed project or methodology. The concept note serves as an initial step in the process of developing a project or methodology that can generate carbon credits.
A methodology description is a document that outlines the procedures and methods used to calculate greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions or removals from a specific project applying the methodology. The methodology description is used to provide consistency in the calculation of emission reductions or removals.
