# Get Started

Here you will find information on user and organizational accounts and how to manage them

The [CarbonRegistry.com](https://carbonregistry.comcarbonregistry.com) platform is divided into two parts: users and organizations. Individuals create **user accounts**. Users with relevant authorizations can create **organizational accounts**. Users may be associated with multiple organizations and organizations may have multiple users. Organizations can't belong to other organizations.
