# Verification report (VerR)

A verification report is a document that verifies that a GHG emission mitigation are according to monitoring and adhere to ICR program requirements.&#x20;

The verification report includes an assessment of the impacts, including an assessment of the quantification of the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions or removals. The report also assesses other aspects of the project implementation, monitoring , quantification, and adherence to prescribed procedures.

The verification report is prepared by an accredited validation and verification body that assesses the project monitoring against the criteria.&#x20;

The verification report provides assurance that projects impacts and issued carbon credits are real.&#x20;
