# KYB

When starting the KYB make sure that you are authorized by your organization to complete the KYB and agree to terms and conditions during the KYB. If you're not authorized you can add users to the account from organizational settings.

All organizations that have direct business relationship with ICR like validation and verification bodies, project developers, project proponents, marketplaces, etc. need to complete Know-your-business check. Similar to the KYC process, the KYB is initiated from the registry platform. ICR doesn't review any review request of projects unless the project proponent and/or developer has completed KYB.

Before proceeding with the KYB process, please ensure the accuracy of your provided information. Additionally, have the below documents ready:

* Certificate of Incorporation
* VAT Registration Statement (if applicable)
* Evidence of Authorization
* Details of Beneficial Owners

From the organizational account navigate to "**Verify now**".

Provide the information about yourself, full name, contact email (corporate) and phone number. You need to use the email and phone number during the KYB.&#x20;

When you click **"Proceed to KYB verification"** you're directed to ICR's KYB service provider [Taktikal](https://www.taktikal.com).

In the KYB form your required to provide necessary information so ICR is able to engage in business activities with your organization.&#x20;

#### Information requested is&#x20;

* Legal name
* Registration number
* City
* State
* Postal code
* Country
* Website
* Official phone number
* Official email address
* Invoicing email address
* Legal form of the organization&#x20;
* Industry

#### You also need to provide the ICR with details on&#x20;

* the purpose of the business relationship with ICR
* purpose of the account
* Certificate of incorporation
* VAT registration (Iceland only)

#### Details on beneficial owners

* Number and identity of beneficial owners&#x20;
  * Including information to complete KYC, i.e. passport information
* Number and identity of authorized signatories
  * Including information to complete KYC, i.e. passport information
* Evidence of authorization

When you have completed the KYB all verification documents are delivered to you email and uploaded to the documentation of the organizational account.&#x20;
