[CarbonRegistry.com](http://carbonregistry.com/) is under the ownership and operation of International Carbon Registry ehf., based in Iceland. The platform's software solutions are developed by Mojoflower ehf., also based in Iceland.

### Why 

There is a great need for scaling and accelerating climate action on the national, organizational, and individual level. We believe that transparency and traceability augmented by modern technology can establish the trust needed in voluntary and compliance climate actions. Registries should serve the needs of all participants in the market, from project proponents and marketplaces to assurance organizations and regulatory bodies. Therefore we have developed [CarbonRegistry.com](https://app.carbonregistry.com) to address major pain points in the ecosystem, with the ultimate goal to streamline climate project management and enhance user experience.
